Integrated concept for the further development of the charging infrastructure
On behalf of the city of Wuppertal, DMT ENERGY ENGINEERS developed an integrated concept for the further development of the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The aim was to create a sound and future-oriented planning basis for demand-oriented expansion in the urban area. The project included a comprehensive analysis of the existing charging infrastructure, a data-based demand forecast, and the identification of suitable charging points in public and semi-public spaces. By involving relevant local stakeholders in structured participation formats, a viable location concept was developed that integrates traffic, urban planning, and energy management aspects.

Hydrogen roadmap for the Rhine district of Neuss
DMT ENERGY ENGINEERS created a hydrogen roadmap on behalf of the Rhine district of Neuss. The aim was to prepare the region specifically for the development of a sustainable hydrogen economy – with a clear focus on potential, concrete projects, and the involvement of key players.
A key added value of this roadmap lies in the creation of an integrated overall concept with a concrete action plan. This involves developing an optimal introduction strategy for hydrogen technologies in the region. At the same time, feasible projects are identified and evaluated – including electrolysers, hydrogen filling stations, H₂ pipelines and NH₃ crackers. In addition, realistic milestones are formulated to serve as a guide for step-by-step implementation and support the path to a climate-neutral energy future.
