Concept study: Energy park – Gelsenwasser AG

Design of a hybrid park with connected electrolysis

On behalf of Gelsenwasser AG, DMT Energy Engineers developed a concept study for the design of a hybrid park with an integrated electrolysis plant. The aim was to develop a technically and economically viable overall concept for the use of renewable energy sources at the site – including the production and use of green hydrogen.

The study enabled a comprehensive overview of all system components and analyzed the technical and economic conditions. The optimal scenario for site utilization, energy production, and hydrogen generation was identified. The results were incorporated into specific recommendations for action and served as a sound basis for decision-making for the customer.

EDG Entsorgung Dortmund GmbH

Implementation consulting for fleet conversion of special vehicles, trucks, and passenger cars to battery-electric drives

DMT ENERGY ENGINEERS supported EDG Entsorgung Dortmund GmbH in the strategic and technical conversion of its extensive vehicle fleet to battery-electric drives. The aim was to make both the fleet of over 400 vehicles and the associated charging infrastructure future-proof and low-emission. Based on the implementation concept, EDG then had a sound plan and a robust economic basis for the gradual conversion of its fleet. We also defined the requirements and framework conditions for setting up a suitable charging infrastructure at all locations.
