Implementation of the energy and climate protection strategy in North Rhine-Westphalia
As one of the supporting organizations of the former EnergieAgentur.NRW, DMT ENERGY ENGINEERS played a key role in implementing North Rhine-Westphalia's energy and climate protection strategy. Our many years of experience in developing and implementing sustainable energy projects flows directly into our work at the municipal and regional level.
DMT ENERGY ENGINEERS provided targeted advice on regulatory frameworks, funding landscapes, and administrative structures—always with a view to concrete implementation options. Thanks to its extensive network of relevant players and decision-makers in the energy sector in North Rhine-Westphalia, projects were supported competently, practically, and strategically.

Development of regional H2 concepts in preparation for future value chains
On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Transport, DMT ENERGY ENGINEERS contributed to the strategic development of regional hydrogen concepts that serve as the basis for the establishment of future value chains.
In doing so, we were able to draw on our extensive experience in advising regions on strategic, technological, and market-related issues, as well as on funding opportunities. Through the targeted involvement of key players, DMT ENERGY ENGINEERS ensured effective knowledge transfer and supported the development of viable hydrogen projects on site. In addition, through our active participation in the nationwide regional network, we contributed to supraregional networking and the exchange of proven approaches and solutions.

Strategy consulting – accompanying research on e-mobility
On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Transport, DMT ENERGY ENGINEERS supported the strategic development of electromobility through international accompanying research. The aim was to analyze political, legal, and market-related conditions in selected countries and to derive recommendations for action for Germany. The accompanying research provided the Federal Ministry of Transport with in-depth insights into international best practices regarding political and regulatory frameworks. It helped to better understand the strategies of other countries and to derive transferable proposals and recommendations for action for German policy.
